COMMUNITY SUICIDE EDUCATION FORUM | Josh Rivedal + Panel Discussion

HOW MUCH: This event, like all LiFE OF HOPE programs, is FREE
WHAT: LiFE OF HOPE is pleased to welcome Josh Rivedal to perform his Broadway style, one-man play, “Kicking My Blue Genes in the Butt” while we gather area partner resources who serve a similar at-risk community. Following Josh‘s presentation, attendees will engage in a discussion panel with Josh, Deeatra Kajfosz (LiFE OF HOPE Founder & Executive Director), Anthony Anderson (military veteran), Michael Owen (mental health professional), and a crisis professional who will share lived experience and professional insight to suicide risk factors, behaviors, protective factors, intervention options, and recovery. A book signing will also take place with Josh and Deeatra, featuring the book “The i’Mpossible Project – Vol 2”. All proceeds from book sales will support the LiFE-Saving mission of LiFE OF HOPE. Gary’s Market will have pastries, baked goods, canned items, and fresh produce for sale to event attendees with all proceeds donated to LiFE OF HOPE.

5:00PM – Doors Open for guests to enter Community Resource area (Silver Lining Building). Josh and Deeatra – Early Meet & Greet / Book Signing
6:00PM – Program Begins – Josh presents “Kicking My Blue Genes in the Butt”
7:00PM – Panel Discussion – Community impact and lived experience: ideation, survived attempt, and loss + Audience Q&A
7:40PM – Program concludes – Guests welcomed to revisit area resource partners and purchase an autographed book by Josh / Deeatra
