For some, extended periods of isolation can make it difficult to build new relationships. AHA Community Connections offers a FREE, comfortable atmosphere for expanding a sense of community through healthy activities among fellow adults (ages 18+). As our social circle expands, our sense of connectedness fosters a healthier sense of self.

In short, AHA Community Connections is where individuals, who might otherwise find themselves isolated, come to engage in positive relationships through healthy social activities. Whether you enjoy walking, art activities, Packer parties, movies, games, or taking part in a book club, there is something for everyone. Come as you are. There is no pressure, only acceptance, harmony, and affirmation to encourage your natural desire for belonging.

The AHA activities will begin with a weekly social walking group at the Kettle Moraine YMCA in West Bend.

The registration process is as easy as 1-2-3.

1. Contact LiFE OF HOPE or NAMI Washington County to schedule your registration appointment. NOTE: To participate in AHA, individuals must complete the registration process.
2. Complete the simple registration process.
3. Attend your first AHA Community Connections activity.

AHA is a collaborative program provided by LiFE OF HOPE and NAMI Washington County.
