Thank you to the many sponsors, donors, guests, and volunteers who made our inaugural Celebrate LiFE Dinner & Auction a great success. The event raised more than $17,000 in net profit to be dedicated to the LiFE OF HOPE (suicide prevention) programs. As we prepare for 2016, our AWARENESS, EDUCATION, and SUPPORT services will be expanded as a result of the generosity shown during this high-energy and informative fundraiser event. Please plan to join us (again) next year as we continue to Celebrate LiFE, each and every day! SUICIDE IS PREVENTABLE. One community. One family. One LiFE at a time.
We hope you will enjoy the photograph memories, provided by Barger Photography. We welcome and encourage you to share them with others.
We did it! Our “i am…” T-Shirt fundraiser closed with 80 shirts sold and $1,370 raised! It is with sincere appreciation that we thank everyone who SHARED or fundraiser posts here on Facebook and placed an order. Let us know if you would like to see another fundraiser like our “i am…” T-Shirt. If we have enough interest, we will mass produce the t-shirts and make them available for purchase at future LiFE OF HOPE events. Continue reading “i am…” T-shirt Fundraiser Success!
Many thanks go out to everyone who came together to make the 1st Annual GiVE HOPE Mini-Golf Fundraiser Outing a HUGE success! Traditional golf fundraisers have nothing on our downsized event to emphasize the “mini”-ways one can live mentally well. More than 45 golfers attended a fun-filled game of mini-golf, hosted at Logger’s Park in Richfield, yesterday, Thursday, June 25th. Residents from all around Washington County and beyond, joined together in support of our LiFE OF HOPE mission; reduce the number of suicide attempts thereby leading to a natural reduction in the lives lost to suicide. A special awards ceremony recognized golfers for a number of golf talents and the “Second Chance Club” was auctioned off to the highest bidder, Julie Ann Blazei. Julie received the official 2015 Second Chance Club, which was given new purpose after having reached the end of its playing days. The club represents the importance of finding and embracing a purpose in LiFE as one positive coping skill to combat depression and suicide ideation.
